Sometimes the document is in the right language and the wrong format. Five services that do exactly that, without translating a word.
These are orders in their own right. There is no translation stage, no translation line in the price, and no upgrade offer.
When you need to edit it

A scan turned into an editable Word file — headings, paragraphs and tables become what they are again, and you can keep writing in them.

The same PDF, but with a text layer you can select, copy and search — without changing how the page looks.

The searchable PDF depends on a rendering step that can fail without leaving a trace. If it is not produced, the editable document arrives as normal and no error appears — there will simply be one file fewer in the download list.

Price
Conversion is priced by page, in marginal bands: 39¢ per page to start, then 29¢, 22¢ and 16¢ as the document gets longer. Order minimum $3.90. The exact price is shown before payment.
